The Hope Tree grew from a simple idea: that every person carries a quiet hope for their community, and when those hopes are shared and seen, they begin to take root.

St Osyth Summer Sounds, produced by the charity Arts Trust Productions, is a bold new festival created to reduce isolation in rural and marginalised communities by connecting people through music, food, and community engagement.

Arts Trust, producer of King’s Cross Summer Sounds, has announced that Summer in the Park, the free festivals in the beautiful parks and squares of Greenwich and Bexley, will return this year following a hugely impactful 2024 edition.

Summer in the Park transformed Cygnet Square, Gallion Park, Queenscroft Park, Greenwich Park, St Osyth Park, and Maryon Park into cultural hubs with bespoke marketing. Local artists illustrated each park for promotional materials, fostering pride and a sense of place within the community. The artistic designs enhanced event anticipation, showcasing these parks as vibrant cultural venues, not just recreational spaces.

King’s Cross Summer Sounds 2024 transformed Coal Drops Yard into a vibrant celebration of music and community. From August 15th to 26th, diverse performances, including jazz, folk, and family-friendly activities, captivated attendees. The festival fostered inclusivity and connection, showcasing local talent and bringing together people from all walks of life.

Arts Trust and NYJO summer programme empowered young people in King's Cross through music and spoken word, boosting confidence and creativity, culminating in a performance at King's Cross Summer Sounds, showcasing their original work.

Following the closure of long-time collaborator Greenwich Dance, Arts Trust takes full creative control and expands the programme of free festivals in beautiful parks and public spaces across Greenwich, Bexley and Tendring.

Participation in Summer in the Park means gaining exposure and engaging with locals and visitors who attend our festivals. It's not just a festival; it's a chance to be part of a community-driven celebration.

We’re looking for stewards to be a part of Summer in the Park 2024. At outdoor family events from June through to August, stewards will be ensuring all visitors have an incredible time in the sun.

Fractured is a new production by composer Jill Jarman created for and performed by Dame Evelyn Glennie, Catrin Finch and Hugo Ticciati.

We are looking to appoint our new Producer (Communities and Engagement) who will take a leading role in our participation initiatives, steering our efforts in line with our four theories of change during a period of significant growth and relationship building throughout London and Tendring.
