Nathanael Coke (NJC), is an emerging R&B artist who will bring his new trio to the stage exclusively for Summer Sounds. Nathanael’s soulful journey spans from his roots in the choir to taking centre stage as a solo performer. A two-time Grounded Sounds artist (2023–2024), he's honed a distinctive voice shaped by deep industry insight and a passion for supporting young musicians. Now serving on the Artistic Board of the Abram Wilson charity, NJC brings fresh talent and vision to the future of UK R&B.

Isobella Burnham, is a London-based, Barbadian-grown bassist, vocalist, and composer whose vibrant fusion of jazz, soul, and Caribbean influences is making waves on the UK scene. After cutting her teeth as a session bassist for artists like Mabel, Tom Misch, and Jorja Smith, she launched her solo career with the 2021 debut EP Dancin Garuda. Since then, she’s played major stages including Love Supreme, We Out Here, and a sold-out Ronnie Scott’s. For Summer Sounds, Isobella brings a dynamic quartet featuring Eliane Correa (keys), Benjamin Appiah (drums), Naiyah (vocals), and herself on bass and vocals.

Dele Sosimi, the Nigerian-British Afrobeat Ambassador, Musician and Educator, has been at the heart of the global Afrobeat scene since relocating to the UK in December 1995. Having started his musical career with Fela Kuti's Egypt 80 band in his teens, he then teamed up with childhood friend Fela's son Femi Kuti (back in the late eighties) to kick start the Positive Force - touring, recording and performing worldwide. Over forty years later, he remains a tireless ambassador for the unique musical movement all over the world. His blend of complex funk grooves, traditional Nigerian music, African percussion and an underlying sense of jazz combines with his virtuoso keyboard skills and rhythmic singing to make him one of the most respected Afrobeat authorities of his era.

Xambi (pronounced zam-bi), is an emerging Neo-soul band based in London, recently debuting with their single "Take Your Time." Formed in June 2022, their natural synergy shines through the track. The song features a bouncy bassline, seamless drum grooves, dreamy guitar and piano chords, and beautifully sung vocals, drawing comparisons to The Internet, The Isley Brothers, and D’Angelo. Notable collaborations include London rapper Saiming and horn solos by Grifton Forbes Amos, creating a fusion of Neo-soul, Funk, Rap, Hip-hop, and Jazz. Xambi's message of intimacy and fellowship resonates, fostering a warm, welcoming environment. Fans have praised the band, with comments like "Nothing beats London Soul".

Kit Lockey, DJ performances from Kit Lockey will be joining the gaps between live sets through the day. Kit Lockey is the co-owner of community station Voices Radio; an avid radio man previously hosting regular shows on the likes of Balamii and Netil Radio, as well as making guest appearances on institutions like Jazz FM and Reprezent. Outside of the studio, you can find him blending groove-focused tracks across broken beat, house, jazz, funk, soul, hip hop + more around London at music-first venues like Spiritland, Space Talk, The Library Lounge at The Standard Hotel, as well as festivals We Out Here, Secret Garden Party and Love
