London City Voices is a family-run, non-audition, non-religious choir, with several branches around London. Founded by Richard Swan and directed by him and his son Ben Swan, they have grown from 10 people around a piano in 2011 to over 600 in total membership, and have performed at Wembley Stadium, Troxy, Hackney Empire and many other venues. They recorded with Annie Lennox in aid of Greenpeace over lockdown, and they also raised over £100K for Women’s Aid with their own project during that same period. As well as making music they are a very strong community, and run holidays, quizzes, theatre trips and much more.
